Wella Professionals appoints Zoe Irwin as UK Colour Trend Expert

Zoe Irwin has been appointed as the Wella Professionals UK Colour Trend Expert, bringing with her decades of experience working in editorial, session, salon, product development, and trends forecasting roles.

In this newly created position, Zoë will be the spokesperson for Wella Professionals Colour in the UK. Zoë will specifically be working with the consumer media providing insights and trend predictions through seasonal colour trend forecasts to help showcase the craftsmanship and magic of the hairdressing directly with end consumers.

With over 30 years of experience, and dubbed ‘the Stella McCartney of hair’, Zoë was part of Guido’s core team for a decade. She is a trained Trend Forecaster, having attended Central Saint Martins, and this has become an integral part of her work since 2011. She regularly works with trend agencies including Flamingo advising them on new tribes and hair aesthetics, the cultural impetus behind them and what they mean for the early adopters and those that follow them.

In her new role with Wella Professionals, Zoë will also work alongside Wella Professionals Colour creatives; a group of carefully selected colourists who work with Wella Professionals to test, showcase and innovate within the industry.
