Ouidad makes waves across the pond with a host of award wins

Adding to its growing list of international accolades, two products from the new Ouidad Stylutions range have been named winners for the 2020 SELF Healthy Beauty Awards in United States.

Ouidad Going Up! Volumizing Texture Spray and Ouidad Clean Sweep Moisturizing Dry Shampoo achieved the top spot after a rigorous testing and vetting process. First, the SELF Healthy Beauty Awards team consulted several dermatologists who helped to create guidelines of what to look for. Next, editors vetted over 1,200 products to find the best new innovations in skin care, hair care, and cosmetics. Finally, they worked with over 70 testers, with a wide variety of beauty concerns, to select their favourites.

Ouidad Going Up! Volumizing Texture Spray (RRP: £28.00) was featured award’s the ‘Best Styling Product for Fine, Thinning Hair’ category and was described as a product that lives up to its name “leaving behind a full, luscious mane that you could still run your fingers through.” It was also noted that the blend of mongongo oil, manuka honey, raw silk powders, and carob tree protein felt nice on their hair compared with other products. One beauty award tester said it is great for post-partum hair loss.

Ouidad Clean Sweep Moisturizing Dry Shampoo (£28.00) was featured in the award’s ‘Best Dry Shampoo’ category and described as a product that works for all hair types, even though it has been developed with curly hair in mind. It was noted that it does not have to be brushed through to be evenly distributed and the dry shampoo was also praised for going on clear, “which is rare and appreciated.”

For Ouidad, this is the most recent beauty award win in the US, following a host of other accolades including, Ouidad Revive and Shine Rejuvenating Dry Oil Moist selected as Glamour 2020 Beauty Award Winner, Ouidad Going Up!
