Established in 2016, Live True London now includes a successful collection of salons across top London locations such as Brixton, Clapham, Vauxhall and Soho.
With a mission to empower others at the very heart of Live True’s ethos, the partnership with FoodCycle comes as a natural fit, and – with the ongoing cost-of-living crisis – at a time when people need more help than ever.
FoodCycle was started in 2009 with the aim of connecting communities and reducing loneliness and food poverty – working with thousands of volunteers and surplus food to help as many people as possible.
Last year, the volunteer-led charity cooked and served hundreds of thousands of meals to people in dozens of local communities, as well as saving hundreds of tonnes of food from going to waste.
From May 2023 onwards, Live True London will be offering a ‘FoodCycle Charity Treatment & Blow Dry’ at all salons as part of their signature menu. From every £75 hair treatment and blow dry service, £10 will be donated to FoodCycle, helping to provide meals to the hungry and build a community for the lonely.
