‘Pili – Pala’
‘I created this collection when we were in lockdown and all I wanted was to feel free. I’ve always loved butterflies and enjoyed watching them in the wild, so the simplest idea inspired me; my creative wall came crashing down and the ideas just flowed. This is how Pili-Pala was born, it means butterfly in welsh.
I created hair lace out of human hair and milkshake products, before moulding them into the butterflies. The looks have a strong structure with a delicate finish, giving the illusion of freedom of movement.
