Dua Lipa has recently debuted a brand-new, red-hot hair look, with a shade that just happens to be the colour of the season – Pinot Noir. With accents of cherry cola and fiery red, this deep, dark and expensive-looking colour is certainly set to be a statement shade this year.
Commenting on the trend, Robert Eaton for L’Oréal Professionnel explains how the statement celebrity colour will filter down to clients: “With red being a big colour story this season, it’s wonderful to be able to reference Dua Lipa’s new red hair to clients in our salons. For me, it is the perfect blend of intensity with a cool depth, making this an ideal colour for many of my clients.”
Roz Orr from Charlie Miller for L’Oréal Professionnel also comments, focusing on the colour’s suitability and versatility: “This Pinot Noir colour is great for anyone with a dark blonde base wanting a more playful look for the autumn/winter season. It’s perfect for those who are looking for something more impactful, and it’s also great to give brunettes something a little bit different. Products such as heat protection are a must to prevent fade and to keep the intensity of the colour.”
Robert adds: “For me, using products that create flawless shine and immaculate hair texture are so important with reds. The new L’Oréal Professionnel iNOA Nebula Reds, for example, are great for creating this look – not only do they combine the latest in hair colour technology, but the oil-based formula is incredible for shine and condition too.”
