Proud Camden in London played host to the third complete sell-out HOB Uncut event last month. With hairdressers from all around the world, press and special guests gathering together, the concept of this year’s show was shaped around the HOB Salons 35th Anniversary.
Akin Konizi and his team cut and styled 14 models live on stage, bringing to life 35 years of iconic HOB looks and then giving each on a modern twist to show how the styles have evolved into current trends.
Sean Nolan, Head of Technical, was also on hand to take through his colour applications and techniques – silvery blondes, raven blacks and statement bolds – which he described as “quintessentially HOB”.
Looking ahead to 2019 the audience were reminded that the HOB Creative Team are available for bespoke education bookings at salons across the UK and internationally and will also be delivery a programme of cutting edge courses at the HOB Academy throughout the year.
