Business Expansion – Growth After Lockdown

September 22, 2020

Having survived an incredibly difficult 18 weeks of closure following the countries COVID19 lockdown, it is with great delight that F&M Hairdressing announce that they are expanding the business – fantastic news for the local area and the team within the salon.

Small businesses alike found the lockdown period understandably difficult, however with an incredibly detailed business model and plan in place, Salon Directors Brian MacMillan and Kevin Paul Finnell put plans into place to ensure the business was financially secure during the closure and as a result are now expanding the salon, creating two more full time stylist positions.

Brian explains, “Throughout the lockdown period, we like many other business owners across the country certainly felt the pressures when it came to the team and our business. However after much planning and detailed strategisation we have came out of the other side. We already knew demand for appointments would be extremely high however it’s become incredibly busy and we are now expanding over two floors, changing our training suite into a fully utilised salon space – something we are delighted to announce.”

Kevin follows on, “ To be able to create two job opportunities in the midst of the pandemic and add to our team is something we are delighted about. We couldn’t do it without our incredible team and their amazing work ethic and of course our loyal clientele.”

F&M Hairdressing are looking for two enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join their award winning hairdressing team. A minimum of 5 years experience is required and applicants are asked to send their CV to salon@fmhairdressing.com
