A team of four Wella artists worked their magic at The Brit Awards recently at its dry styling, ‘Drama Parlour’, pop-up blow dry bar.
The team was headed up by leading Wella educator, Jake Unger from HOB Salons, and Wella’s Generation Now members Richard Potts from Rage, Elizabeth Williams from KH Hair and Natasha Cameron from McIntyres.
The pop up styling bar was located at the 02’s Intercontinental hotel, where VIP music industry guests could have blow-dries and dry styling, all using Wella’s EIMI styling range. Guests enjoyed a dinner and show, before going to the star studded Brit Awards. After the awards, 3500 guests piled into the after party where the Wella team styled guests’ hair to perfection.
The team were inundated with requests for smoothing, curling, the occasional braid and some super stylish updos. “This was a fantastic event to be part of. We could not believe the demand and had constant queues of guests waiting for a quick hair fix. “The atmosphere was incredible, and it was great to see so many people genuinely happy by their freshly polished hair,” said Jake.
“The team worked incredibly hard but loved every minute. It was an afterparty to remember and very cool indeed,” said Jake.
