If you’re half way through Veganuary and looking for some extra culinary inspiration for meat-free dishes, we spoke to a selection of stylists for their favourite quick and easy Vegan dishes for the life of a busy hairdresser.

“If you’re new to Vegan food, Vegan Asparagus and Pesto Lasagne is the perfect taster. I’ve updated a Joe Wickes recipe for this and it’s easy to do and tastes great. If you’re new to vegan food I’d highly recommend this.” Niall McNulty, Matrix Artist

“If you’re in a rush and don’t have time to cook after a day at work, the best microwave meal to buy is Tesco Plant Chef Meal Free Cottage Pie. It’s hearty, homely and quick to heat up in the microwave, so it’s a perfect quick hot meal on a busy day.” Heffy Wheeler, Pulp Riot Artist

“There’s nothing simpler and more tasty than Pasta Pesto. It’s quick and easy and most importantly, delicious. The perfect introduction for anyone wanting to try a meat-free dish.” Daniele de Angelis, TONI&GUY

“It’s super important to try new things especially when it comes to nutrition and to listen to your body’s needs when it comes to food to fuel it in the best possible way in the new year. For a great snack or a light lunch add quinoa, sweetcorn, roasted red pepper and onion to a mixing bowl and create small falafel sized balls. Take a vegan tortilla wrap, add lettuce and smother with hummus and add all contents back in, delicious and nutritious!”-Bethany Chapman, Blushes Cheltenham

“Meat-free sausage stir fry is one of the tastiest dishes around. Sausages such as Cauldron sausages and vegetables doused in orange juice and teriyaki sauce is quick after a busy day in the salon and so tasty you won’t miss your meat.” Marcello Moccia, Room 97 Creative, Wakefield and Leeds

“Veganuary is my favourite month and it brightens up a dull January knowing there is new delish food out there for us to try. My favourite home-made meal would be baked sweet potato with garlic and herb soft cheese with steamed long-stem broccoli which can all be prepped the night before and eaten cold, delish!” Helena Brookes, Pulp Riot Artist

“Bean Chilli is always a winner. Just sweat down onions and garlic then add a couple of tins of chopped tomatoes, any veg and different beans and chickpeas. Add lentils for protein, veg stock and ground cumin, paprika, salt and pepper. It makes loads and it’s great to have in the freezer.” Laura Dogobeees, Pulp Riot Artist
