Family, friends and guests unite in tribute to Toni Mascolo at TONI&GUY Mainstage.
Over 3400 guests from around the world flocked to London for the return of the revered TONI&GUY Mainstage event. Held at the ExCel, the evening paid tribute to the brand’s late founder and CEO Toni Mascolo who passed away last December.
His family, wife Pauline, daughter Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck and two sons Christian and Pierre, gathered on stage to honour him with a video of touching messages from friends, colleagues and family who loved and respected the spirited entrepreneur.
Next it was time to honour more of the TONI&GUY family and awards were presented to successful salons, distributors and stylists. There since the start of the TONI&GUY journey, Jackie Lark received a Lifetime Achievement Award amid cheers from the crowds.
The evening continued with stunning shows from the TONI&GUY Session Team, the Art Team and the Essensuals Salon Team and a special guest appearance from NOT3S who took the show to the next level with his tracks My Lover and Addison Lee.
Last but certainly not least, the finale showcase opened with Ave Maria Di Schubert playing whilst Avant Garde rising star Sylvestre Finold’s images lit up the screens. At the close, the screens parted to reveal a live choir who sang whilst models with breath-taking hair creations, led by Avant Garde legend Efi Davies, glided down the runway.
Finally all 50 models from throughout the evening walked the catwalk to “We Are Family”, the perfect song to embody the still family run brand.
