Drenched textures

The wearable, wet look as seen at Chloe was a popular look across the board for SS19 and is a forever style for the summer months. It’s easy to create and easy to wear. Simply apply L’Oreal Professionnel Full Effects Mouse through the roots of freshly-washed hair working section by section. Let it set, then apply a drop of oil through the lengths for that fresh-out of-the-water look. Alternatively, dress hair with half up, half down styles as seen at Chanel, and embellish it with jewels.

Polished ponys

Keep ponytails, buns and knots polished to perfection this season. Worn at Christopher Kane, the ponytails were ultra-reflective, while at Burberry the buns were picture-perfect. Once you’ve secured your clean hairstyle gloss over it with a light serum and high shine hairspray to keep it ultra-polished. At Burberry Guido secured the buns with a thin hair net the same colour as the model’s hair to keep it ultra-tidy and super secure.

Naturally waved

Deconstruct the beach wave this summer and focus on the natural movement instead of full-bodied curls. Leave hair to dry naturally with a little blow dry lotion such as L’Oreal Professionnel Pli and then using your curling tong, place random bends to enhance the natural texture of the hair. Focus on kinking a few of the ends round the front and back rather than the whole head.
