Super Sponsors: Denman Back the GB Hair Team

For the first time in over a decade, the GB Hair Team will be competing at the OMC World Hairdressing championships later this year.

In an exciting new sponsorship, Denman Professional is set to be the team’s tool of choice. Taking place in Paris on 9^th-11^th September, Adam Gregory – Chief Executive and Head of Education and Training for the OMC Great British Hairdressing Team – will be leading the charge for the UK’s latest bid for domination at the Championships.

Adam has created a network of ‘Centres of Excellence’ in colleges around the UK to build a legacy plan for the future of the GB Hair Team through training and the creation of the Junior GB Team. The UK regional heats for both Junior and Senior teams will take place in these Centres of Excellence in April and May of 2023, with the National Great British Hairdressing Championships being held at Central Hall in Southampton on 27^th and 29^th May. Four squads of 24 will then be selected – Junior Ladies and Junior Mens for the Under 23s and Senior Ladies and Senior Mens for those over 23. After an intense period of training, 12 hair professionals from each category will then be selected to form the final GB Hair Team to compete at the OMC World Hairdressing Championships in September. Each trainer and competitor will receive comprehensive tool kits and bespoke GB Hair Team branded Original Stylers.
