Salonology: Podcast recommended by Victoria Cartwright of Lox of Love
I found Salonology, a business mentoring and coaching company for the hair and beauty industry, at the very start of Lockdown 1.
Their podcast is relatively new but I’m hooked! What I like about it is how they make, what could be, a boring topic for most hairdressers, into something light-hearted, fun and engaging. I find I am learning without even realising it.
As hairdressers we continually refresh our practical skills, but for most salon owners, running the business is a process we learn along the way rather than have specific ongoing training for. These guys bridge that gap, and I can listen while I’m in the car, folding the washing or doing a stocktake!
