“As we move into Autumn, we’re seeing summer’s buttery blondes evolve into something deeper and richer with a hint of warmth,” says Tim. “Autumnal spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon are the inspiration behind these deeper blondes – plus, they will all be relatively low maintenance for your clients.”
1. Cinnamon Blonde
Close to a rose gold, this peachy blonde is deeper and more vibrant with a hint of auburn for added spice.
2. Nutmeg Blonde
This rich, medium blonde has a hint of gold, allowing it to work well with softly shadowed roots.
3. Pumpkin Spice Blonde
A rose gold blonde mixed with copper, this fiery tone is perfect for fair skin and green eyes.
Top tip: Overlay toner on existing highlights to create warmth or add in lowlights for more depth on very blonde clients – try to keep these highlights close to the root for face-framing potential. For this particular method, I love working with the Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Vibrance demi permanent colours.
To help maintain the colour’s vibrance and shine, I recommend clients return to the salon every six to eight weeks as well as using Schwarzkopf Professional’s Chroma ID at home. The Bonacure R-TWO Rescuing Treatment from Schwarzkopf Professional is another great at-home treatment to restore moisture when the hair dries out due to things like central heating.
