Headmasters Awards celebrating 2018

January 10, 2019

Headmasters celebrated 2018 in style, unveiling its stars of the year at an Around the World themed ceremony hosted by the one and only Rylan Clark Neal.

Over 1000 of the Headmasters team flocked to Battersea Evolution in London to raise a glass to their achievements and creativity over the past year.

Newly appointed Creative Director Andrew Barton got the party started with a vibrant, visual celebration of hair and culture around the world with hair executed by the Creative Ambassadors led by Nicole Ihor, then guests enjoyed a three-course meal before the awards began.

Headmasters Chairman John Sanders welcomed the team with congratulatory speech as well as a dedication to Jim Nunn a founding partner of the Headmasters Salon Group who passed away after a long illness in 2018. Raju Raymond CEO of Headmasters took to the stage to express that Headmasters have had an extremely successful year having raised over £100,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, in a large part due to the very competitive Most Charitable Salon Award.

The Headmasters Awards comprised of seven awards for Business, judged on in-salon performance, plus five Creative photographic entries. One lucky colourist drove away in a Convertible Mini Cooper following the yearly prize draw and one salon left with £5,000 to treat their teams courtesy of the HSBC sponsored award for The Big 5.
