Goldwell announces Color Zoom 2018 UK finalists

July 17, 2018

An established panel of industry experts and key trade press editors recently came together for this year’s official Color Zoom UK judging day, to decide who would be going to the UK final and potentially on to Global Zoom in Toronto later this year.

This years photographic entries were portrayals of Goldwell’s 2018 theme ELEMENTAL. The theme fuses “technology with creativity and resurrects the primal – like a new dawn. It is characterised by an interplay of rawness and refinement while solidity merges with translucency.”

The results are now in, and Goldwell is pleased to announce that the UK finalists in each category are…

New Talent – Kasha Havis of Blu Hair, Emma Pilling of Toxic Cherry, Tanahya Nash of Tony Wood Hairdressing, Freya Collins of Sarah Riggott and Millie Upton of Timba Hair & Beauty.

Creative – Lydia Wolfe of Tony Wood Hairdressing, Bianca Jones of Oracle Hairdressing, Caroline Brand of Oracle Hairdressing, Ben Driscoll-Price of Price and Driscoll and Gary Pellicci of Gary Pellicci.

Partner – Stephanie Jone of Toxic Cherry, Craig Paul of Timba Hair & Beauty, Tony Wood of Tony Wood Hairdressing, Joel McCauley of Slunks and Lauren Harcourt of Hobson & Holmes.

Next, the UK winners will be announced at the Color Zoom UK final which takes places on 29th July at the Brewery London. The winners will then travel to Toronto in September to compete at the world renowned international live final for a chance to be crowned a global winner and to work on the Color Zoom Collection for 2020.
