Each Christmas, Crisis at Christmas mobilise a unique volunteering effort to provide warmth, companionship and vital services to people facing homelessness. Their Salon service is one of those vital services and it’s also one of the most popular with their guests. It’s amazing how much of a difference this service makes to a person’s wellbeing.
They have already received a great response to their volunteer recruitment, however, there are several shifts across their London centres that they are still looking to fill. These are: Minimum commitment is one shift only.
Camden Day Centre: 25th Dec / 10am-6pm / 2 volunteer spaces.
Docklands Residential Centre: 25th & 26th Dec / 10am-6pm / 1 volunteer space available on each day.
Greenwich Residential Centre: 24th, 25th, 26th, 28th Dec / 10am-6pm / 1 volunteer space available on each day.
Hackney Day Centre: 27th & 28th Dec / 10am-6pm / 1 volunteer space available on each day.
Hyde Park Residential Centre: 24th Dec (1 space), 26th Dec (3 spaces), 27th Dec (2 spaces), 28th Dec (1 space) / 10am-6pm. Notting Hill Day Centre: 25th Dec / 10am-6pm / 1 volunteer space available.
