Monday 28th November 2022 saw the annual glittery extravaganza that is HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.
In a celebration of hairdressing excellence, the awards recognise the outstanding achievements of stylists from across the country, as well as exceptional specialist talent that includes Afro, Men’s, Avant Garde and Colour Technician.
Combining the witty comedy of host Katherine Ryan with a spectacular musical performance from Professor Green, the awards proved to be an unforgettable evening. To top it all off, the stellar title on the night – British Hairdresser of the Year 2022 – was bestowed on TONI&GUY Global Director and Head of Education Cos Sakkas. Having progressed through the ranks to achieve his current impressive role, Cos commented: “It’s amazing to win this award. I’ve been with TONI&GUY for 30 years and people always search for the grass that is greener – my grass has always been super green!’
