As ever this month my diary is been full of exciting projects, as well as seeing clients at the Urban Retreat at Harrods. I have an agent who gets me work, working on photoshoots and often I get to work on glamorous sets with some great teams.
This month was no exception, as I was working with award winning hairdresser Tracey Devine, and celebrated fashion and beauty photographer Richard Miles, in creating the soon to be launched Affinage education collection ‘Take 4’. The collection showcases the latest trends in cut, colour and styling and will be part of their education booklet released later this year.

Also with Affinage this month, I was delighted to be welcomed by such a lovely audience in Plymouth when the technical team and I presented an event with me showcasing the key trends of the season and an insight into my work. The evening also supported HABB; I’ve been a supporter/ambassador for the official industry charity for many years and am proud to share their efforts to help hair and beauty professionals in their times of need.
I had another busy day on shoot, but this time I got the chance to work on a test shoot to explore other creative projects with photographer Tony Le Britton. The theme of the shoot was ‘Hair Hero’ and I was thrilled with the collection – so watch this space for more images from the shoot. Test shoots are a great way of building a portfolio and extending your experience with a creative team.
One of my big passions is working on my signature consumer brand and I was delighted to be visiting press this week in London showcasing my soon to be launched collection of styling tools. I work closely with the technical team and labs to create products that are effective and give customers a great result when they style. With three collections now available and the collections winning awards, it’s a joy for my team and I to see the brand continue to grow in to such a success.
